Sergi had to keep in contact with Martin to let him know Chuck would be behind the group. It was interesting to see how the two men coordinated the ride and riders.
The ride along the Jerte River to Plasencia was very pleasant. We stopped for gas near Plasencia. We then climbed back into the mountains on EX-208. Sergi and I again led he group so we could take some photos of the riders on the scenic mountain pass. Once we finished taking pictures, we followed the group into the Parque National de Monfrague along the Tajo River.
